Council to set up a Mobile Unit in Labasa Town at Nabawan Supermarket.

The Consumer Council of Fiji, Labasa staff will be setting up a mobile unit on Friday May 11, 2018 from 9am to 12pm at Labasa Town beside Nambawan Supermarket.

Consumers are urged to make use of organised mobile units in order to receive up to date information on consumer issues.

Staff of the Consumer Council of Fiji will be present to advocate on consumer rights and responsibilities register complaints and provide advice on consumer issues.

Consumers are accessing services provided by the Council; however mobile units as such are a convenient method for those that face difficulties in visiting the Council office. Consumers are urged to report any unscrupulous trader practices in the Northern Division for the Council to monitor.

The Council Labasa Office is receiving complaints on issues such as mobile products, electronic goods, lay buy, hire purchase, landlord and tenancy and hardware.
